Gordon has always had a keen interest in visual art, graduating in 1967 from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

The designer and creator of this web-site is an artist who lives with Gordon on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, Canada. Marlene York works in a variety of media including watercolour and large graphite drawings. She teaches children's art classes in her studio, and does workshops and murals in the schools.
