Gordon was inducted into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame in Recognition of his Outstanding Lifelong Contribution to Country Music and also as a Pioneer in Music				Gordon received the Canadian Grand Masters Fiddling Assoc Lifetime Achievement Award in Recognition and Appreciation of his Outstanding Contribution to Old Time Fiddling in Canada
		Gordon received the ECMA Stompin' Tom Award This award honours those who have made a long-term contribution to the East Coast music industry and have paved the road for many successful East Coast artists of today.
On September 6, 2018 Gordon Stobbe was invested as a Member of the Order of Canada, “For his commitment to the preservation of fiddle music as a performer, composer and teacher and for his devotion to the preservation of fiddle music”.
